Travel rewards points are essentially a currency that you earn through credit cards, shopping portals, and offers and use to pay for travel in place of money. 

"Free Travel" means that you can pay for plane tickets, hotel/resort stays, cruises, rental cars, and more with your points instead of cash. 

It is important to know that there are still some taxes and fees that might be associated with your travel. For instance, airlines still charge you tax on your plane tickets, but typically that tax is $11.20. 

That's not a problem at all!
